At first glance, this website looks very professional indeed with interesting and imaginative layout on all pages. The information does not look static or tired and it creates a feeling of warmer climates and places we’ve all dreamed of. It has considered its potential market well and used text and visuals to capitalise on that.
The homepage has minimal text which is key to any homepage, and it is enough to convey the message to visitors about who they are and what they offer. Use of bright colours gives it a happy feel.
Navigation is easy for the user and good use of dropdown menu options is made here – easy to do from the web builder. We can see details of good hotels, packages and other travel-related issues such as the currency converter. Little add ons to the site make it more interesting and look more professional without over complicating things.
This site has made use of our advanced contact form which goes one step further than the basic form and allows you to customise it to your audience. For the purpose of this website, it works well and is suited to potential customers.
The site also makes good use of social networking interaction with links to sites such as Facebook and it invites you to login and join the site; giving the customer a feeling of belonging and interaction whilst allowing them to tell their friends about the products and promotions.
The tried and tested customer testimonials section has also been included which is a fantastic way to promote your services. Word of mouth is going to increase your business more than many other forms of advertising.
Our Expert Recommends:
• the ‘Book with us’ buttons don’t work under ‘packages’ and these should link to an integrated PayPal payment page. SiteMaker provides e-commerce facilities. See Beginners Guide;
• the links to the currency converter and also airline booking sites should be ‘affiliate’ links to generate additional site revenue;
• a ‘Links’ page is useful for any travel related site;
• remove Google Ads as this distracts from the content of the site. This is important for a travel related website, due to the amount of online competition;
• buy a domain name - although this site is called Jenjalan.com, this domain isn’t registered, but is available. Buy now before it’s taken!;
• insert Meta Data – this is so search engines can index your website and the number of visitors to your site increases. See Beginners Guide;
